In both Elle TENS and Elle TENS 2
Burst mode — between contractions
- Between contractions, the pulsing rhythm is already prompting your body's own pain-relieving hormones — endorphins and encephalins, so each contraction meets more of your own capacity. They take about an hour to build, which is why switching on early matters.
- Two burst modes, so you can change the rhythm as contractions pick up pace.
- A soft, rhythmic sensation, there even in the quiet between waves.
Boost mode — through contractions
- As you feel the contraction coming, you press Boost button once. It stays on, so your hand is free. Press it again when the contraction passes and you are back to Burst.
- A continuous, stronger sensation that crowds out some of the pain signals on their way to your brain — a different mechanism from Burst, working at the same time.
- Two boost modes: one for early labour, one for when contractions are stronger and closer together.
Opti-Max — a third control
- Exclusive to Elle TENS machines.
- Opti-Max changes how the sensation feels rather than how strong it is. Extra relief from a different direction, so when you want something different you are not only turning it up.
- Five levels, adjustable either way, any time you want it, not only in the final stages.
Elle TENS 2 adds
Contraction timer
Your body has a rhythm, and you'll see it at a glance — no app, no stopwatch, nothing extra to think about.
Every time you press the Boost button, your Elle TENS 2 quietly starts timing: how long each contraction lasts and, when you press it again, how long until the next one begins.
And you'll see the moment your rhythm changes — contractions growing longer, closer, stronger — so you and your partner will know, at a glance, when things are truly moving.
Backlit screen
Your screen stays readable whatever the hour, wherever you are — settings, timer, everything at a glance, without turning on a light or asking anyone.
